Meanwhile, in Meiners Oaks ----FOCUS ON PUBLIC ARTWORKS ---- “Heart of Ojai” is a 24 foot mural on panels that is a collaboration of The Ojai Studio Artists, the Ojai Valley Museum and over 50 public volunteers from ages 3-83 led by artist Vera Long to thank first responders in the Thomas Fire and celebrate this tight knit caring community. Artist Susan Guy initiated the colorful mountains. The piece is permanently installed at Market 33, 319 East El Roblar in Meiner’s Oaks.

it was founded in 2015 by artists, family, and friends to celebrate the legacy of esteemed art patron and private art dealer Carolyn Glasoe Bailey. The Foundation is committed to supporting and advocating the arts and sciences
through numerous initiatives, exhibitions, and programs. Current initiatives include awards for visual artists, as well

​9 Ojai Valley Museum of History and Art
Established in 1967, Ojai’s only museum is located in a 1918 National Historic Landmark church. The mission of the museum is to collect, preserve and exhibit the art, history and culture of Ojai.
The museum facility houses two galleries, a Permanent Collection, a Museum Store, and the Ojai Visitor Center.

Murals - Art in Public Places 
There is a wealth of public art to attract interested art lovers and strollers in the Ojai Valley. Sculptures, fountains, benches, arches; made of stone, metal, ceramics, wood, etc. ​All public art is on display 24/7 and free for all to enjoy.
Check out Ted Gall's soaring steel horse at the entrance to the Rotary Community Park. 

The neighborhood of Meiners Oaks is offering a profusion of new murals generously gifted by local artists. 
Children will probably be awed by these spectacular murals.

Stained Glass Windows at the Jewish Community of Ojai (JCO) 
“Blessings” Six stained glass windows created by Ojai artist Susan Stinsmuehlen-Amend are on permanent display at the JCO in Meiners Oaks.
